FX LOOP

Controls how much input volume it takes to sweep the filter. Roll back for less sweep.

How quickly sweep begins. CCW will sweep immediately turn up to slow down.

How quickly sweep ends. Full CW is longest sweep.

Controls the resonance (sometimes called ‘Quack’) of the filter. Full CW may feed back!

Full CCW is all clean input signal, Full CW is all filtered signal.

Intensity control. Full CCW starts the filter peak lower. In static filter mode change this.

Provides 3 filter peak frequency settings. Center position is the highest.

This will shift the 3 FREQ settings up or down. This provides 6 total settings.

Up sweeps the filter from low to high and returns to low freq. Down does the opposite.

Full makes sweep, Half makes subtle sweeps. center position = no sweep = static filter.

(2 switches) BP = Band Pass or either Low or High Pass, depending on the 2nd switch.

For using 2nd effect without losing input envelope. Send goes to input of another pedal.

This                                  This unit has True Bypass: The circuit is entirely removed from your signal path in bypass mode.

This effect must be powered with a proper ‘Boss style’ adaptor. +9V (negative  tip)

                               * WARNING: Using the wrong power supply can DAMAGE or DESTROY your unit. *

With proper care your RFPCo

unit should provide a lifetime of

happy stomping. Should you have

a problem resulting from work-

manship or hardware failure

under reasonable use, I will repair

it free for the first six months and

for the cost of shipping thereafter.

I reserve the right to charge for

parts and labor after the first year

but I am reasonable. I will be glad

to help out with modifications or

support, just ask me.

-Thanks

                        * ATTACK and DECAY work together. If decay time is shorter than attack time, no sweep will happen.

                        * If short sweeps cause ‘ripple’ (glitchy sweeps) try turning up DECAY time and turning down SENSE.

                       * COLOR turned way up may make VERY LOUD peaks or cause undesirable distortion. Use with care.

                       * INTENSE controls both where the filter idles, (with no input, or weak input) AND how high it sweeps.

                      * Use lower INTENSITY and resonance (COLOR) settings along with half BW trigger for subtler effects.

                      * BP setting only allows frequencies between upper and lower filter values to sweep, where LP only

sweeps the high end and HP only sweeps the low end. For Bass, try LP setting.

                      * ENV LED will display the envelope intensity. The brighter it is, the higher the filter frequency.

                     * Many effects (such as distortion or compression) reduce envelope intensity. It is recommended

that you plug your instrument directly into any effect that detects an amplitude envelope. If you

want fuzz or distortion with your filter, put it in the FX LOOP. Send goes to input, out to RETURN.

                     * A well filtered and regulated power supply will give the best results with this effect.

                     * This effect is definitely a difficult one to master. Be patient and take the time to learn how to use

It and I promise that you will not be disappointed.

          THANKS, & HAPPY STOMPING,
